What I wish I knew before trying speaking from a neighborhood park

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 6 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 2 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. I would love to see a follow-up after 3 weeks.

I laughed, but you are not wrong.

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. I learned that one the expensive way.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. The beautiful constraint is probably the real story. I love details that only make sense once you've been there.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. This pairs weirdly well with banana bread.

The boring logistics are always the hidden part. My friend tried it in Madrid and had the opposite result.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. This pairs weirdly well with pierogi.
