My 2-month experiment with culture before coffee

I started this because my weekend felt a little stuck, and culture seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. cities got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. I would love to see a follow-up after 2 weeks.

Honestly, this is a little too vague to be useful. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

The framing feels off to me. Not terrible, just not convincing. I am curious whether cities still feels good next month. I love details that only make sense once you've been there.

Love the tiny experiment energy. A little friction removed goes a long way. This makes me want to look at a map for an hour.

I disagree a bit. experiment matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. For me it came down to the playlist.

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. I noticed the same thing in Jakarta. I love details that only make sense once you've been there.

I like this more than the top-level advice.

I would pin this if I could.

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

The culture angle is what sold me. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error. I love details that only make sense once you've been there.
