What I wish I knew before trying recommendations for absolute beginners

I started this because my rainy evening felt a little stuck, and manga seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the conversation for a while.

The detail that surprised me was how much the corner shop changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether beginners stayed easy. I keep a note about recommendations for exactly this reason.

I would pin this if I could.

I would push back gently on the recommendations part. I would test it for 10 days before deciding.

That is a much better way to say it.

This made me smile more than expected. The the train station detail changes the whole answer.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. I am curious whether recommendations still feels good next month.

Love the tiny experiment energy. This pairs weirdly well with pierogi.
