What I wish I knew before trying recommendations for absolute beginners

I started this because my rainy evening felt a little stuck and manga seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that teh smallest change was teh one I kept.

Part of me wanted teh fancy version with all teh tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with teh conversation for a while.
