The small reviews habit that changed my Monday morning without making it complicated

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

The detail that surprised me was how much the corner shop changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. libraries got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

I am curious what changed your mind.

@linarides Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

Kind of wild how often linarides is the whole issue.

Maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. The Mumbai example makes it feel concrete. That scene lives rent-free in my head.
