I tried doing pc the boring way and it worked from my desk

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the practice run for a while.

I tried this in São Paulo with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. I keep a note about pc for exactly this reason.

Exactly; the hidden cost is energy.

You just saved me a bad purchase.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. For me it came down to the practice run.

That last line is excellent. The quiet part is easy to underestimate. That final turn energy is unbeatable.

That last line is excellent. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error. Co-op makes almost anything better.
