The most practical part of learning photos without making it complicated

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where portraits stopped feeling new.

This reminds me of something a friend in Manila mentioned. It sounds small, but the prototype matters.

I am curious what changed your mind.

Honestly, great taste. My friend tried it in Kuala Lumpur and had the opposite result.

Wonderful detail. It makes the whole thing feel real. This is more useful on a tired commute than on a perfect day.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. The busy month version is even more interesting.

Yep, the boring details matter.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. That is where the boring checklist helps.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. This is more useful on a tired busy month than on a perfect day.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. I would write it down before changing anything else.

I think this advice is overrated. For me it came down to the conversation.
