The thing nobody told me about film for absolute beginners

I tried this in Seoul with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 3 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

Now I want a spreadsheet.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. The cozy constraint is probably the real story.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

Good reminder that boring can be good. The second half changed how I felt about the beginning.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.
