A tiny story about banana bread, Mumbai and timing that actually stuck

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 2 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where console stopped feeling new.

Honestly, great taste. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

@quiet_laura Short answer: yes. Long answer: also yes.

Love the tiny experiment energy. That is where the boring checklist helps.

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

This made me smile more than expected. The 6-minute rule is underrated.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. The my desk detail changes the whole answer.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. This is more useful on a tired rainy evening than on a perfect day.

I wish more posts had this much context. The quiet constraint is probably the real story.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. I keep a note about console for exactly this reason.

I am stealing that phrase.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

Thanks, that actually helped.

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option.

Good reminder that boring can be good. I noticed the same thing in Mumbai.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. I learned that one the expensive way.
