My favorite low-effort upgrade for fiction

I tried this in Istanbul with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. The 9-minute rule is underrated. This belongs on a rainy evening list.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

The kindness in this post is lovely. This pairs weirdly well with ramen. I respect a strong opinion about pacing.

This is adorable and oddly motivating. My only addition is to make the first step visible. The second half changed how I felt about the beginning.

I am cheering for this update. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.
