My favorite low-effort upgrade for nonfiction that actually stuck

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 3 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the conversation for a while.

This has cozy competence written all over it. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me. I respect a strong opinion about pacing.

I would love a follow-up example.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

Anecdote beats theory here.

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

That is a much better way to say it.

Can you expand on that a bit?

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. My friend tried it in Kuala Lumpur and had the opposite result.
