A gentle rant about budgeting and expectations before coffee

The detail that surprised me was how much the kitchen changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 2 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where debt stopped feeling new.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

This reminds me of something a friend in Berlin mentioned. I would love to see a follow-up after 7 weeks. A boring plan you can keep beats an optimized plan you abandon.

That is a much better way to say it.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. I learned that one the expensive way.

Appreciate the nuance.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. I would test it for 4 days before deciding.
