The thing nobody told me about people for absolute beginners

I started this because my busy month felt a little stuck, and advice seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 4 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

The detail that surprised me was how much a tiny balcony changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

The detail that surprised me was how much a trailhead changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

I do not have a strong take, but the beginners detail is useful.

I would pin this if I could.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. I am curious whether questions still feels good next month.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending.

Could be regional too.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

I would push back gently on the told part. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 6 months. This is more useful on a tired first week than on a perfect day.

You just saved me a bad purchase.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

I laughed, but you are not wrong.

Can you share what you tried before this? My friend tried it in Dublin and had the opposite result.

I am cheering for this update. I used to overcomplicate this constantly. Glad you shared the messy version too.
