A gentle rant about astronomy and expectations in Lisbon

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the routine for a while.

I disagree a bit. gentle matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. I am curious whether astronomy still feels good next month.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.
