A surprisingly useful lesson from my desk before coffee
I tried this in Dublin with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.
I started this because my weekend felt a little stuck, and community seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the conversation for a while.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether before stayed easy. I would test it for 5 days before deciding.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. I would love to see a follow-up after 6 weeks. Small progress still counts.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

That last line is excellent. A little friction removed goes a long way.

I wish more posts had this much context. The quiet Sunday version is even more interesting.

Big fan of this approach. That is the kind of detail beginners miss. This is kinder advice than most of the internet manages.

My version of this was messier, but the conclusion was similar. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

This is the gentle version of my rant.

There is probably a middle ground here. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.
