I tried doing prompts the boring way and it worked after a tiny failure

I started this because my commute felt a little stuck, and poetry seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 5 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

I think this advice is overrated.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

Maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

Thanks for making it less intimidating.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. The messy constraint is probably the real story.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

The kindness in this post is lovely. Great use of light and restraint.

I would love a follow-up example.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about boring. This is more useful on a tired commute than on a perfect day. The texture and mood are lovely.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about boring. I would write it down before changing anything else.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

Short answer: yes. Long answer: also yes.
