A beginner mistake I am weirdly glad I made before coffee

This is probly obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. photos got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam

maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. It sounds small, but the tiny repair matters. This is kinder advice than most of the internet manages

I would push back gently on teh glad part. My only addition is to make teh first step visible. Small progress still counts

this is useful for some cases, but terrible advice if the stakes are high. My only addition is to make the first step visible

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot

I think the bad version of this advice causes alot of frustration. That is the kind of detail beginners miss

did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist? This is more useful on a tired late summer than on a perfect day. Small progress still counts
