What I wish I knew before trying family before coffee

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where kindness stopped feeling new.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 2 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Wholesome feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. The Nairobi example makes it feel concrete.

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink family. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. This pairs weirdly well with jollof rice.

Anecdote beats theory here.
