A tiny story about falafel, Cape Town and timing in real life

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. clubs got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 4 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

The detail that surprised me was how much the kitchen changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

There is probably a middle ground here. I keep a note about clubs for exactly this reason.

The vibe here is immaculate. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error. The best gear is the one that gets used.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

That is a good question for people with more experience than me. The Mumbai example makes it feel concrete.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. I am curious whether fans still feels good next month.
