A tiny story about jollof rice, Seoul and timing without making it complicated
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 5 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.
I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.
A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I am saving this for the next time I overthink seoul. The a trailhead detail changes the whole answer. I can already hear the menu music.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing.

I am cheering for this update. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 6 months. I would test it for 4 days before deciding.

That is a good question for people with more experience than me. The Berlin example makes it feel concrete.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

That last line is excellent. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a trailhead.

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. I am curious whether manga still feels good next month.

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. I would love to see a follow-up after 5 weeks.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. I would love to see a follow-up after 4 weeks.
