A tiny story about idli, Madrid and timing for absolute beginners

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make History feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

Honestly, this is a little too vague to be useful. The Toronto example makes it feel concrete.

I would push back gently on the idli part. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

I am cheering for this update. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

Useful intention, poor execution.

Big fan of this approach. I noticed the same thing in Warsaw.

Anecdote beats theory here.

That is the part people skip.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

Love the tiny experiment energy.

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.
