What memes looks like when you stop optimizing everything before coffee

This is probly obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. jokes got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Funny feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist? I am curious whether jokes still feels good next month. People underestimate how much sleep changes the answer

I would push back gently on the coffee part. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a trailhead. The follow-through matters more than the perfect plan

I would love a follow-up example

Useful intention poor execution. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability. I needed this reminder today

Sara Ahmed · 1 likes

@rapid_otter80 Can you expand on that a bit?

Noah Miller · 11 likes

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. This is more useful on a tired late summer than on a perfect day

My first thought was cost, then time, then whether I would remember to do it. I learned that one the expensive way
