A tiny story about arepas, Melbourne and timing

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the route for a while.

I started this because my weekend felt a little stuck, and biology seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. This pairs weirdly well with falafel.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether story stayed easy.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. For me it came down to the practice run.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. For me it came down to the prototype. Now I want to read the paper behind it.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. The awkward part is easy to underestimate.

That last line is excellent. I am curious whether biology still feels good next month. Now I want to read the paper behind it.
