What plantbased looks like when you stop optimizing everything from the train station

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 3 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. recipes got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the setup for a while.

I started this because my lunch break felt a little stuck, and plantbased seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Wonderful detail. It makes the whole thing feel real. I would test it for 7 days before deciding.

This comment has main-character footnote energy.

This is the kind of disagreement I like.

Kind of wild how often days is the whole issue.

I would love a follow-up example.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. The 4-minute rule is underrated.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

@midnight_sleepy I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

Honestly, great taste. I would write it down before changing anything else.

That made the concept click.
