I tried doing console the boring way and it worked after 9 tries

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 5 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

The kindness in this post is lovely. I would love to see a follow-up after 2 weeks.

Can you expand on that a bit?

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability. This is why house rules need a constitution.

The kindness in this post is lovely. It sounds small, but the routine matters. I can already hear the menu music.

This has cozy competence written all over it. The lunch break version is even more interesting.

@tiago-20 Exactly; the hidden cost is energy.

I am skeptical. The idea sounds good, but the maintenance cost is real. My friend tried it in Toronto and had the opposite result.

That last line is excellent. I would love to see a follow-up after 7 weeks.

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. The Berlin example makes it feel concrete.

I wish more posts had this much context. This is more useful on a tired lunch break than on a perfect day.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. I used to overcomplicate this constantly. Backlog guilt is a shared cultural experience.

Appreciate the nuance.

Kind of wild how often like is the whole issue.

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.
