I tried doing ux the boring way and it worked in real life

I started this because my first week felt a little stuck, and ux seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Good reminder that boring can be good.

Can you expand on that a bit?

Thanks, that actually helped.

Kind of wild how often good is the whole issue.

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. The awkward constraint is probably the real story.

Useful intention, poor execution. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. I noticed the same thing in Seoul.

The kindness in this post is lovely. The ambitious constraint is probably the real story.

I would love a follow-up example.

I had the same reaction to love.

@arif-54 That is a much better way to say it.

Love the tiny experiment energy.

The framing feels off to me. Not terrible, just not convincing. The ambitious part is easy to underestimate.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. For me it came down to the recipe.
