Startups · by Noé Petit · 2026-09-28

I tried doing founders the boring way and it worked with a messy constraint

this is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. founders got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Startups feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time

I think this advice is overrated. The practical part is easy to underestimate

Glad you shared it; small wins count. The a family dinner detail changes the whole answer. The spreadsheet should include the emotional cost too

could be regional too

This depends heavily on budget, time and personality. I would document the agreement in writing

That is a good question for people with more experience then me. I would love to see a follow-up after 2 weeks

I am skeptical. The idea sounds good, but teh maintenance cost is real. It sounds small, but teh routine matters

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the library
