What gear looks like when you stop optimizing everything in Mexico City

I tried this in Lisbon with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

A few notes from my attempt:

- remove one annoying decision

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. My friend tried it in Cairo and had the opposite result.

I would push back gently on the city part. A little friction removed goes a long way.
