My 8-month experiment with community from my winter notes
The detail that surprised me was how much the corner shop changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.
My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 7 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 8 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.
Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I wish more posts had this much context. My friend tried it in Berlin and had the opposite result. Glad you shared the messy version too.

That would annoy me more than it helped.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. I would love to see a follow-up after 8 weeks.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. The chaotic part is easy to underestimate.

Good reminder that boring can be good. I noticed the same thing in Seoul. Small progress still counts.
