I finally understand why Travel people care about culture from my winter notes

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 2 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. trips got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

The detail that surprised me was how much a tiny balcony changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. The the train station detail changes the whole answer.

That is the part people skip.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. I learned that one the expensive way.

I would pin this if I could.

Can you share what you tried before this? The gentle part is easy to underestimate.

That is a good question for people with more experience than me. My friend tried it in Lisbon and had the opposite result.

I had the same reaction to experience.

Good reminder that boring can be good. My friend tried it in São Paulo and had the opposite result.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. I would test it for 3 days before deciding.

That is a much better way to say it.
