A tiny win from Madrid that made my week in real life
A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 10 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.
I tried this in Jakarta with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.
I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

Love the tiny experiment energy. This is more useful on a tired quiet Sunday than on a perfect day.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing. Sound design deserves more credit.

The vibe here is immaculate. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

This is adorable and oddly motivating. The practical part is easy to underestimate.

This sounds good, but in practice it can be a bad idea without more context. The social part surprised me too.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 4 months. The social part surprised me too.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

Thanks for making it less intimidating.

Great point, especially the part about tiny. I learned that one the expensive way. I love when a recommendation comes with the right mood attached.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. I noticed the same thing in Buenos Aires.

The boring logistics are always the hidden part. I would love to see a follow-up after 8 weeks.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

There is probably a middle ground here. I would write it down before changing anything else. Sound design deserves more credit.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

That last line is excellent. This pairs weirdly well with jollof rice.
