What prompts looks like when you stop optimizing everything before coffee

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I started this because my late summer felt a little stuck, and fiction seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 5 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actualy follow through

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. I would test it for 7 days before deciding

The kindness in this post is lovely. The awkward part is easy to underestimate

Big fan of this approach. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability

There is probably a middle ground here

The framing feels off to me. Not terrible, just not convincing. The social part surprised me too

Not wrong but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. I would test it for 7 days before deciding

This is the gentle version of my rant

Kind of wild how often test is the whole issue

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. The social part surprised me too

This. Exactly this

Useful intention, poor execution. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a trailhead. I like that it feels lived-in instead of over-polished

This is adorable and oddly motivating. I learned that one the expensive way

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat
