I tried doing nostalgia the boring way and it worked from the train station

I started this because my Monday morning felt a little stuck, and nostalgia seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 8 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where nostalgia stopped feeling new.

What would you change if you started over? This is where I would ask one more question before choosing. That final turn energy is unbeatable.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near my desk.

This is useful for some cases, but terrible advice if the stakes are high. A little friction removed goes a long way. That final turn energy is unbeatable.
