What I wish I knew before trying budgeting

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where investing stopped feeling new.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. The a coworking table detail changes the whole answer.

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. I would test it for 2 days before deciding. Optionality is underrated.
