A tiny story about tacos, Berlin and timing that actually stuck
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the first draft for a while.
Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Gaming feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.
I started this because my rainy evening felt a little stuck, and indie seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

This reminds me of something a friend in Manila mentioned. I keep a note about pc for exactly this reason.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. I noticed the same thing in Cape Town.

I am stealing that phrase.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. That is where the boring checklist helps.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether actually stayed easy. The useful part is easy to underestimate.

Love the tiny experiment energy. That is the kind of detail beginners miss. This is why house rules need a constitution.

I do not have a strong take, but the tiny detail is useful. I learned that one the expensive way.

Love the tiny experiment energy. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the train station. Co-op makes almost anything better.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. The awkward constraint is probably the real story. The real boss fight is finding a night everyone is free.

This has cozy competence written all over it. I would love to see a follow-up after 2 weeks.

Big fan of this approach. I would write it down before changing anything else.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. I keep a note about console for exactly this reason.

Exactly; the hidden cost is energy.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

Love the tiny experiment energy. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.
