My favorite low-effort upgrade for debugging after a tiny failure

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I tried this in Dublin with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. java got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist? That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability. Good reminder that tools should serve people, not the reverse.
