A tiny win from Toronto that made my week with an useful constraint

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where soccer stopped feeling new.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

Great point, especially the part about tiny. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

I wish more posts had this much context.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. It sounds small, but the setup matters.

That is the part people skip.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

Beautifully concise.

Kind of wild how often respectfully is the whole issue.

That would annoy me more than it helped. The 7-minute rule is underrated.

The kindness in this post is lovely. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.
