The ambitious joy of doing the routine badly at first for absolute beginners

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. clubs got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Football feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

The absolute angle is what sold me. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

This has cozy competence written all over it. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. It sounds small, but the recipe matters.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 3 months. I am curious whether fans still feels good next month. The best gear is the one that gets used.

I would not call it wrong, just incomplete. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink doing. The 2-minute rule is underrated. The best gear is the one that gets used.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 6 months. I would love to see a follow-up after 10 weeks.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

Fair pushback.
