My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 9 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself.

My version of this was messier, but the conclusion was similar. It sounds small, but the practice run matters.

The kindness in this post is lovely. This is more useful on a tired busy month than on a perfect day. People underestimate how much sleep changes the answer.

Mildly negative take: the simple version is sometimes just underexplained. I noticed the same thing in Buenos Aires.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink sense. The weekend version is even more interesting.
