What I wish I knew before trying playlists from my late summer notes

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the prototype for a while.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 5 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 9 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it

love teh tiny experiment energy. The messy constraint is probably teh real story

The Tuesday test is undefeated

Mildly negative take: the simple version is sometimes just underexplained. I noticed the same thing in Berlin

That is a much better way to say it

The context helps. Without it I would of assumed the opposite. I used to overcomplicate this constantly. I respect a strong opinion about pacing

This has cozy competence written all over it. I keep a note about playlists for exactly this reason

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. I would love to see a follow-up after 3 weeks. The second half changed how I felt about the beginning

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. The social part surprised me too

agree completely. The simple version is underrated. The messy constraint is probably the real story

that is fair, but I still worry about maintenance

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing
