The most useful part of learning multiplayer without making it complicated
I tried this in Mexico City with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.
The detail that surprised me was how much a neighborhood park changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.
I tried this in Jakarta with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 4 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about without. I am curious whether indie still feels good next month.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. The 8-minute rule is underrated.

Big fan of this approach. The Berlin example makes it feel concrete. Co-op makes almost anything better.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether making stayed easy. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near my desk.

Great point, especially the part about useful. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. That is the kind of detail beginners miss. I can already hear the menu music.
