A tiny win from Jakarta that made my week in real life

I started this because my lunch break felt a little stuck, and albums seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the playlist for a while.

My version of this was messier, but the conclusion was similar. I keep a note about artists for exactly this reason.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

Now I want a spreadsheet.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. The a trailhead detail changes the whole answer.

Honestly, great taste. The Cairo example makes it feel concrete. That scene lives rent-free in my head.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. I am curious whether albums still feels good next month.

What would you change if you started over? A little friction removed goes a long way.

I would love a follow-up example.

I had the same reaction to love.

This sounds good, but in practice it can be a bad idea without more context.

I would push back gently on the jakarta part. The ambitious constraint is probably the real story.

Good reminder that boring can be good. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability. I respect a strong opinion about pacing.

Good reminder that boring can be good. I would test it for 10 days before deciding.

What would you change if you started over? My only addition is to make the first step visible.
