Today I Learned · by Léa Bernard · 2026-10-01

I finally understand why Today I Learned people care about culture without making it complicated

a few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

The detail that surprised me was how much the kitchen changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 6 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. My friend tried it in Mumbai and had the opposite result

I would push back gently on the without part. A little friction removed goes a long way

I would push back gently on the people part. My friend tried it in Seoul and had the opposite result

what happened after the first week? I am curious whether culture stayed easy. That is the kind of detail beginners miss
