What are the red flags beginners miss in Anime on a budget?

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

My practical advice is to make the next step tiny enough that you can do it today. Momentum usually answers half the question. I would love to see a follow-up after 10 weeks.

That is a good boundary.

Beautifully concise.

Yes, but I would approach it in a small, testable way rather than trying to solve everything at once. If two options look equal, choose the one that is easier to reverse.

- Start small and make the next step obvious.
- Keep notes so you can compare what worked.
- Ask someone with recent experience, not just strong opinions.

Hope this helps!

I would ask what outcome you want in two weeks, not in some ideal future. That makes the choice much clearer. This pairs weirdly well with dumplings.

Yes, but I would approach it in a small, testable way rather than trying to solve everything at once. You will learn more from a simple version repeated three times than from a perfect plan you never start.

- Start small and make the next step obvious.
- Keep notes so you can compare what worked.
- Ask someone with recent experience, not just strong opinions.

Hope this helps!

I needed the reminder to start smaller.

I would pin this if I could.

Exactly; the hidden cost is energy.

Can you expand on that a bit?

I would ask what outcome you want in two weeks, not in some ideal future. That makes the choice much clearer. I keep a note about discussion for exactly this reason.

My practical advice is to make the next step tiny enough that you can do it today. Momentum usually answers half the question. My friend tried it in Jakarta and had the opposite result.
