I finally understand why Nature people care about wildlife in real life

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the prototype for a while.

Can you share what you tried before this? This is where I would ask one more question before choosing. Nature keeps being stranger than the simplified diagram.

Thanks, that actually helped.

This is the gentle version of my rant.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. The useful constraint is probably the real story.

This feels like advice from a patient friend.

The care angle is what sold me. My friend tried it in Cape Town and had the opposite result.
