A surprisingly useful lesson from the library in real life
I tried this in Mexico City with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.
Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

This reminds me of something a friend in Cape Town mentioned. My friend tried it in Manila and had the opposite result.

This made me smile more than expected. I keep a note about pickup for exactly this reason.

Love the tiny experiment energy. I learned that one the expensive way.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

I wish more posts had this much context. I noticed the same thing in Mexico City.

The boring logistics are always the hidden part. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. I would write it down before changing anything else.

Great point, especially the part about lesson. The the library detail changes the whole answer.
