A surprisingly useful lesson from the train station on a budget

I started this because my lunch break felt a little stuck, and street seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. My friend tried it in Berlin and had the opposite result.

I am curious what changed your mind.

That made the concept click.

This reminds me of something a friend in Lagos mentioned. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink train. I would write it down before changing anything else.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. I am curious whether street still feels good next month.

Wonderful detail. It makes the whole thing feel real. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error. The small imperfections make it feel human.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. My friend tried it in Lagos and had the opposite result.
