The small photos habit that changed my Monday morning for absolute beginners

I started this because my rainy evening felt a little stuck, and cats seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 7 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. The 2-minute rule is underrated.

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. For me it came down to the playlist.

This is adorable and oddly motivating. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

That is a good question for people with more experience than me. The a tiny balcony detail changes the whole answer. This is kinder advice than most of the internet manages.

I wish more posts had this much context. This is more useful on a tired busy month than on a perfect day.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

The habit angle is what sold me. I would love to see a follow-up after 9 weeks. People underestimate how much sleep changes the answer.
