Notes from a very normal rainy evening with Books after 44 tries

I started this because my weekend felt a little stuck, and fiction seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. fiction got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

The vibe here is immaculate. The delightful constraint is probably the real story. The second half changed how I felt about the beginning.
