Notes from a very normal rainy evening with Gaming that actually stuck
Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Gaming feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.
I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.
I started this because my commute felt a little stuck, and indie seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen.

Totally agree, especially for beginners.

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

I am cheering for this update. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

I wish more posts had this much context. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.
